Unknown ICON in status bar

I really like my new GS4 but one ICON is driving me nuts trying to figure what it is telling me.

On the attached screenshot it is just to the left of the BlueTooth ICON

I am sure someone must know what this means, but its not in the ICON library on the system, which tells me it is associated with an APP. I just can't figure out which one....

Prettt sure thats a location service. Id check your gps settings.

I turned off each service including GPS but it never went away. The GPS ICON is in the ICON library and it looks similar but differnt.

But you are on to something. I disabled location services in settings and the ICON changed. The curved bars disapeared.

It is strange that the location service which this seems to be is not listed in the ICON library (glossary).

Oh well, not to worry.
