Unknown Icon on Samsung tab 2 7

On one of my Samsung Tab 2 7s I have an icon in the notification bar that I can not trace to an application. I would think it means no information but I don't know which application it is connected with nor what the meaning is. Any help will be appreciated.

The icon is a circle with a line through it and with a small i in center.

notifications are turned off if you click down by the time it brings up that window with all the options u can turn on and off. Notifications will be turned off turning it on will remove the icon.

OK - have an icon that I cannot identify. It is in the top right area of the screen (next to battery, wifi, etc. It almost looks like an eye with three lashes over the eye.

That is smart stay. Keeps screen on as long as you are looking at it. Deselect in notification bar to shut off.
