Unknown icon on statusbar after reset to factory settings.

Hi everyone, I recently reset my LG L9 to factory settings and everything works just fine. But this icon appeared and it has been on the status bar all the time since the reset. I don't know what it does. Can anyone help? Thanks.

I can't say I have seen that before, but have you looked at the book that came with the phone?

It looks like something like some kind of sync icon. Maybe it wants to sync with the old account as you reset it?

I've never seen this option on the L9 settings, but according to this post:

icon meaning? - Android Forums at AndroidCentral.com

it has to do with NFC (near field communication). Try to see if you can disable it under Wireless settings.

@dmsryder, @mario0318 thank you guys. It is the NFC icon. NFC was on but the NFC option was hidden. Thats why I couldnt see it on the Quick Settings bar. Disabled it and the icon disappeared. Thanks again.
