Help Unknown symbol on notification/status line

Running android 4.0.4 on original galaxy tab 10.1. A new symbol has appeared on the status line in the lower right corner.
It is a circle with a symbol inside and a slanted line thru it. The symbol looks like the letter
" i " inside.
I can't get rid of it and I don't know what it's telling me. I have attached a jpeg file displaying the symbol.

A would appreciate any info. Thanks.

Never mind.
I found answer on "Galaxy tab forums". Search "NOTIFICATIONS".
