Unlawful Remote Access

I have a three disgruntle family members who thinks know one knows about their unlawfully access other family members android phones at a family get together. At the same time many members receive pop-broadcasts, or notice games playing by themselves or activation of an app without their participation. They tried it a couple of times with me but because the droid zones out at 15 sec intervals the idiots can not do. I have contacted Google's Legal Team who referred me to the ISP. I contacted them and I have to go to the nearest local police and file a report and call the ISP back with dates and they are to take care of the issue.

A lot of the family are not tech savvy and think something is wrong with their phone. Without rooting how can prevent this from happening on their phones without alarming them? I am still going to file a report with the local police because some folks young and old need to learn a lesson the right way.

By the way they are using an android terminal app titled exec.

Umm as far as I understand he has three family members that somehow got into other family members phones in a family party or something. Everyones phones started playing games and opening web browser windows by themselves because someone was controlling the phones from another phone wirelessly I guess, but his droid apparently closes bluetooth connection or however they got into everyones phones after 15 seconds, so they did nothing on his phone. Maybe?

Thats what I comprehend, or in simpler words.

3 kids hacked into everyones phone in a family reunion

how can he prevent this from happening without rooting phone.

The simpler version is correct. the phones were hacked and I need to prevent it. Needed to give a little more details to receive the statement listed by warock56. It can be done I saw a utube video in April where a patron was at a bar and he sent a broadcast to several of the female patrons simultaneously. Android is Linux which mean there are ports open. If an individual uses a terminal app is it not likely a hack can occur?

I'm worried that this thread's subject could eventually attract viewers wanting to exploit others devices. I'm also not comfortable with members influencing the OP who stated that there is to be a police report.

I know that the OP merely wants advice on how to prevent this activity, it is best that this be pursued in another manner. Sorry, but I need to lock this thread.
