Root Unlock evo design sim

[xboxhaxorz]

I got the code to unlock my design, however when i put a sim card it doesnt ask for the pin code and i tried changing the options in the phone to gsm but it still did not allow me to input my unlock code

[Lizzord30]

Are you in the USA?

[Travisholt92]

yeah the evo design has the GSM capabilities locked in the US. And it wont be possible until S-off is achieved.

[xboxhaxorz]

oh, so i have to do s off to get it sim unlocked are you sure?

yes i am in usa, i know its locked to domestic, but thats why i got the code to unlock it however i cannot even input the code now which i had bought

[kolosus]

I think since these guys took your money you should be asking them. How to do it? If they dont know then you need to know how to ask for a refund!?

[xboxhaxorz]

yea i havent got a response yet, but i wanted it immediately and dont have time to wait for them

[Travisholt92]

yes im 100% sure, no simple unlock code can fix this. You got ripped off

[xboxhaxorz]

so can this phone be unlocked at all

[kolosus]

Not that we're aware of.

[Travisholt92]

not YET no, but in the future if a developer is able to obtain S-off then yes, it will be able to be unlocked
