has anyone unlocked it.. and i mean unlock carrier (sim) -- not rooting..

hello. i spoke with the folks at davinciteam.com via webchat and was sent an invoice for an unlock code for $25.
i have used them in the past for SE phones and have no problems. i was told that they would provide an unlock code within an hour of payment.
att wont have one until august, i called and asked
