Help Unlock via Optical track pad

Is there still no way to unlock phone with optical track pad / trackball thing. It would be so much easier to unlock without having to reach the pwer unlock botton on top. I was looking for this like 6 months ago, just wondering if there is now some way to do it. thanks!

If you are rooted you can do it with Cyanogenmod. Other than that I am not sure.

 

[Mr. Boom]

Widgetlocker, Ripple Lock, and No Lock all have that feature.

It sometimes takes more than one press, but it does wake it.
