i know this may sound stupid to many experience users but i don't really know.
i saw this app in the market

a lot of people said is very good.
but my question is what is the good to have a unlock phone?

The only reason to unlock the Captivate is if you need to use it on another network.

Many people travel, and pick up a local SIM when out of country, or in the case of the Captivate, several Canadians bought it to use on Rogers, which uses the same GSM bands as AT&T.

Also, an unlocked phone will usually sell for more when it comes time to move on to the next great handset.
