I read a news article last week that mentioned the Droid 3 being sold unlocked so it could be used on a GSM network. Sorry for not looking into this (I don't even know if it comes with GSM radios) but is there any validity to that story?
Which brings me to my next question...
If it was unlocked; what would happen if it was activated on say vz AND att?
I think I answered my own question. If I'm not mistaken VZ phones have to turn off their CDMA radio to get the GSM one up and running. Eh, it was a cool thought.
