I wouldn't stress about the warranty because I pay for the insurance through AT&T so anything that breaks they'll fix. Can anyone tell me how that'd put me at a disadvantage?
TMo has two plan types the classic plan and the value plan. The value plan is just a service plan without a phone subsidy. That way it's cheaper. However, it also means you have to pay full price for a phone. The way they do that is have you pay a "down payment" which is the retail price minus $400. Then you pay the rest over 20 payments without interest. So if you want the note 2 and the retail is $649 here's the setup:
downpayment: $249
20 payments of $20 over 20 months.
However, they recently had a special where the you got the down payment back after rebate. I'm guessing they'll do that again before christmas. Like black friday.
