please help me - my desire hd is locked to t-mobile so i got an unlock code online but when i put a tesco sim in the phone it doesnt display "SIM Network Unlock Code" so i cant input the code - not sure what to do - all it says is no signal or limited service and i am unable to make calls etc - where the reception bars are located there is a small x there - please help what do i do ? 
also just noticed every now and then it displays "tesco" on the screen to suggest it has recognised the sim but no signal on the bars - but then it says limited service again - im not sure if my phone is really locked or not now???
duh____ i fixed it - all it was - was that i didnt put the phone coverback on - i think the two gold contacts must make a difference to the connection - its working now - so my phone was already unlocked - thanks alot
