Help Unlocking Device Automatically

[thundermuffin]

Is there way to lock and unlock my device without having to be there. I am rooted and need this to automate some things on my device. I pretty much just want to lock and unlock my device without having to physically hit the button on the side.
Thank you for any suggestions!

Yes, but there is no option to turn the device back on after locking it with a 4.1 device. I'm wanting to make my device pretty much lock and unlock itself automatically.

The Secure Settings plugin supports a "Wake Device" function. You could try executing two functions - disable keyguard, then wake device. That turns off your entire lock screen, then would turn on the device so it should result in an unlocked state.
