Unlocking Mobile phones

Alright guys, i have searched google and i want to know how to unlock any mobile phone? Cost? software? Hardware?, Please can someone help?

It depends on the make and model, tbh. There's no "one size fits all" solution, unfortunately.

p.s. before anyone jumps in with arguments about legality, the OP is in the UK where removing a "network lock" does not require permission from the network.

so there is no one shoe fits all then? only reason i ask is i am thinking of starting my own shop but i have no clue in where to start when it comes to unlocking phones? could you elabarate maybe if i gave you a few makes? Samsung, Iphone HTC and Blackberry?
