Hi all.
I have a Note 2 (N7100) that is locked to Vodafone in Ireland. I've asked to get it unlocked because I'm switching to another network. They've told me it will take up to 10 days to get the unlock code, because they have to contact the manufacturer...which in my eyes is rubbish.
Anyways, I found a process online for unlocking it myself by using the code #197328640# method. When I type this into the dialler and press dial, I get a message saying "USSD code running", then an error message of "Connection problem or invalid MMI code".
I'm running a rooted device, with Cyanoganmod 11.2 and TWM recovery.
Any ideas?
P.S. this is the article I was using to try and unlock the phone: How to Unlock SIM for FREE on GSM Galaxy Note 2! | Galaxy Note 2 Root!
