Root Unlocking stuck?

Unlocked my N10 and now the X is on the screen and has been for over an hour... does it take that long or is there something else i need to do?

Used mskips toolkit to relock and do the unlock root process again... restored defaults and everything is good. Root keeper is also a godsend. Restoring my backup now.

Hi Kane. When that happens if you go to recovery and do a factory reset it will fix. You will usually have to do that when you unlock.

All is back to normal now... softbricking is just a little nerve racking.

I am in the same boat.. the X has been showing for over one hour... What things do I have to do to go to recovery and do a factory reset ?

4ubest, if you haven't found it already. Power off, then hold the power and both volume buttons. That will put you in the bootloader.

Press one of the volume buttons until you see the label in the top left change to say recovery. Press the power button. In a short time you will get to another screen with an android laying on its back.

Now press and hold the power button and press the volume button one time. Now you will be in recovery and can do a factory reset. Use volume buttons to move and power button to select.
