Help unlocking

any word on unlock methods for this phone yet? Wanna let loose of my captivate for this but im att and i hate it!

^^That's the same thing they told me at T-Mobile when I got mine.

YEP... You own the phone not the phone company so why would you not use the phone where it best fits your needs. I did this for a friend and a few days later he was able to use a TMOBILE branded phone only for his ATT service.

I dont think you are.. Honestly i dont think so but im no expert in frequencies. Hopefully someone will post who has more experience

Thanks. I think after some research, I found that it will not work on AT&T 3G.

Who knows.
