Unread E-Mail

Using a Yahoo-based e-mail that I linked up to the Evo. The e-mail on my phone doesn't update at all with what I do on the computer with the e-mail. So I can read and/or delete the e-mail on my computer and it still keeps it as in my inbox and unread on the phone. Thus, the phone can say I show 200 unread emails even though I've read them all. Is there a way to fix this or change the settings?

4 hours , but when I refresh it also doesn't update to what I have done with my e-mail off the phone. It will only unmark as read if I have read it on the phone.

yeah thats strange.... maybe it has something to do with your account
i use AOL mail on my phone (yes i know no one uses AOL) and it works fine. so thats the only thing i can think of
