Help unread email widget?

Anyone know a free widget that will display a count of unread emails 1x1? The Evo's stock email widget did this and I got used to seeing how many emails I had without taking up a lot of real estate on the home screen. Preferably one that will work with exchange email, too.

I know Launcher Pro has that feature...not sure about a standalone app tho

You can do that for gmail thru launcher pro but apparently the android SDK doesn't allow developers to create widgets that can access that info for non-gmail accounts. HTC apparently has created their own email app which is why their widgets work.

there was one free but it was discountinued just a few days ago and does not work
