Help Unread Message Notification Bubble?

Sorry of this is a bush league question. I had the DINC and loved the bubble notification for unread work email and SMS. Gmail had that widget but that no longer works. Any ideas how I can get these unread bubble notifications on the GNex?

Also, how do you preset your voicemail pin to auto fill in when you call voicemail? Can't find option to do so.

In your contacts simply edit the voicemail like this *86,,yourpassword

Coming from the rezound, the email icon had a number on the icon of remaining unread emails.


On the nexus, my email icon is part of the main row of app buttons. I dont see any change to the icon if a new email comes in. Not a biggie, but maybe I need some rest

I think this is what I am missing too. Rezound had it on their icons. I guess its a sense thing?

i think they are doing away with it because you now have the gmail widget that shows the emails (you have to resize it to make it usefull) but on that widget is an unread count.
