So i never noticed this/thought it was a problem before when i spent my every waking moment here. Now that i don't frequent here as much i have noticed that all posts older than about 2 weeks show as 'read'.

Essentially if you don't visit a thread for 3 weeks and hit the 'first unread' link it will only show you the last 2 weeks worth of posts. I never noticed this before and while i practically don't post anymore i am still trying to keep up on certain threads/sections.

Is there anyway to extend that easily? Is this a viable possibility? I think it would help those of us who don't come around very often.....

Not really sure WHAT it's doing. All the threads in my cp that are showing are from the last 45 days its the intro threads and they are obviously 'read'. I've posted in them:)

Can you just check my cp to see what i mean? (not sure if you can do that)
If this happened to everyone then i'm sure you will be hearing about it from plenty of other users.

Yes phases, that is awesome!!
Though now my user cp is showing a bunch of unread threads where I was the last person to post in that thread. :confused:
+1 I have a massive list in my unread subscribed list!!!! 312 unread posts >_>;;;

Since I've only had 5 unread posts last night. :(

Yeah, I've got it too. Perhaps counters were reset on the change, though there was nothing saying that would happen. Let clear them out and see how it works from clean slate. ..?

If that's the only solution, then I guess that's that? I really just want this fix. :< very annoying when I have to scroll down to my Favourite Forums *sigh*

Just read what you're interested in, then mark all as read from the forum home page.

Edit: alternatively I can of course just switch it back :)

I went to the subscribe thread - all folder and selected the threads I wanted mark as read but it looks like they are read? O.o since they aren't 'bold' like my unread threads. Anyways, I selected them but I don't see anywhere for a 'mark as read'? :confused:

I've had that issue myself in the subscribed section...

If you don't want any to stay marked as unread .......... On the forum home page, scroll all the way down, click "Mark Forums Read". Does that help? It will mark everything as read.

I often use the Mark Forums Read option, so I didn't run into that problem. But it does seem to be affecting me on the android app. I have loads of threads under Subscribed >> Unread now, even though I definitely have read them and the app doesn't show them with an orange bar to indicate unread posts.

Is there any way to clear it on the phandroid app? Refreshing doesn't seem to help.
