Help "Unregisterd Model"?

I was trying to update my phone through Samsung Kies Mini and when the upgrade screen came

It won't let me click on the "Mobile Phone Upgrade" and it's coloured grey.
Also the Firmware Version won't show, only leaving me with the message, "Unregistered Model"
What does that mean?
and How am I supposed to update my software.

Other information about my phone:

Firmware Version: 1.5
Baseband version: i5700XXIK2
Kernel Version: 2.6.27, root@dell2-desktop
Build number: CUPCAKE.XXIL3
PDA: 15700XXIL3
CSC: 15700AMNJB1

If you are running 1.5, I think you need to use samsung "new PC studio" rather than Kies.

even in the new pc studio, it wont let me update..
it say: "no upgrade available"
