Help Unresponsive screen?

I've had one since the launch and I am not aware of any unresponsiveness of the screen. The actual glass is a bit thicker than other phones and you might have to press a little harder.

Basically if someone is new to touch screen phones they probably won't notice where as someone who has had one in the past might notice a difference.

YMMV

I read alot of reviews where people complained about the screen too.
They were all VERY VERY misleading.
What Rjglenn just stated is DEAD ON!
He shouldn't have any problem using it unless he's a VERY nit picky person.
...and no matter how you slice it,
this is the most durable smartphone currently available.
I wouldn't hesitate at all if that's your only concern. :)

I have no issues with the screen either, don't know where this info came from. I don't find pressing harder is necessary at all, just hit the sweet spot.

The Commando is my first "smart" phone, so I have not had any problems adjusting to a touch screen since I have no prior experience with one. Works fine for me.

While I agree with the other posters that the screen really isn't much of an issue, I do think it is a bit "less" responsive than other phones. I just know that on occasion when I pick up my wife's samsung galaxy I'm noticeably impressed with the ease of screen input. Again, that's not to say that there's anything wrong with the Commando, but it does require a bit more pressure to get the touch screen going. Hope that makes sense.

Well the touch screen on mine can be awfull sometimes, the calabration becomes very inacurate. I found this problem right out of the box. After the phone was completly charged and DISCONECTED from the charger it worked fine. I often find the problem returns, but only when connected to the OEM A/C charger, other times it works fine on the charger, but again no problem when off the charger. I've had the phone for 8 months now.
