Help Unresponsive screen.

Hello, so I dropped my nexus 4 and completely shattered the screen, with the screen being shattered the touch was unresponsive as well. I watched a video on how to replace the screen, and did everything. The new screen that I bought on ebay works great, the only issue I have is the touch is still unresponsive on my new screen. I took everything apart again and re-checked all of my connections and they all seem good. What could be causing this?

You could have broken something. You could have connected something wrong. Something on the motherboard could have broken when you dropped the phone. The touchscreen could be bad.

That's why it's cheaper to have a (good) shop fix a problem - they know what the problem is, and they know how to fix it. Now, unless you happen to get lucky, you're going to have to bring the phone to a shop, pay them to diagnose the problem (which, since you worked on the phone could be anything, and the longer it takes to find the problem, the more you pay), then fix it. Which will cost a lot more than you "saved" by doing it yourself.
