Help unresponsive touchscreen while gaming.

hi everyone,

I have a problem with the touchscreen when playing certain games. it has happened now for carmageddon and age of zombies. both these games require you to hold a button. when I hold it it becomes unresponsive after a few seconds making the games unplayable. I reset the phone and deleted all user data. reinstalled the games and the problem was fixed. after a short while however it went back to what it was. I have no idea what's causing this.

any ideas?

Hello and welcome to the forums . I see you having a problem with a android device. Just need some info about the device . First are you rooted .

no i'm not rooted, i have this phone for a few months now and haven't done anything much with it other than installing apps etc.
 
You can try this app to test the screen

multitouch visible test

But most stock is set and isn't to much you can do with. If you was rooted the kernel would allow you to adjust the cpu for faster response. I can say i had that issue and had to upgrade my rooted device to a speed kernel this allowed me to adjust my CPU for faster speeds and touch response. When i played the game after the speed kernel instead of the game laughing at me :eek::D i had a chance to laugh at it and had chances to defeat different levels. So try the app see if its not any problems with the touch .
 
i've had it for almost two months. i don't really understand the app. it shows the red and blue dot but when i remove my fingers and put the back on it will flicker a lot. isn't this an issue?
 
It maybe are you insured . And where you got the device from do they have working display . See if you can download a game and see if it does the samething if not do a warranty exchange
 
yeah i'll probably have to send it back. I have another issue as well, when fast boot is selected the phone won't power on anymore. fast boot has to be off. so guess i should send it back. thanks for the help.
 
Fastboot is needed and can only be accessed when the phone is completely off remove the battery for about 35-60 sec . Put battery back in and try the button combo that is called for your device
