Root unrevoke?

Unrevoke 3.2 is suppose to be able to one click root after froyo

My question is, will it root UK htc desires or USA desires only.

Its been pulled at the moment due to a couple of issues on the evo but I'm sure it will be up again soon and I would like to know of euro desires can be rooted with this.

Thanks

I'm UK. I rooted mine perfectly with it. :D
Try asking this in the all things root sub.....
Maybe now that the Desire is out in the states thing have changed...

Has anyone used 3.2 unrevoke on UK desire before it was pulled?

Does anyone know if you would need to unroot to get official ota updates in future if I root with unrevoke.

Thanks for any help or advice.

As I understand it, unrEVOked is using an exploit in ADB at the moment, and once it is running it will root all Desires.

Where your phone is from is not an issue for using this tool. The issues are if your phone needs a goldcard, the screen type(AMOLEDvsSLCD), the network (GSM vsCDMA) and the HBOOT Version. There are many root methods out there, these things need to be considered when chosing which to use.

I have an oled desire running froyo, I was interested in unrevoke 3.2 as this is the first time I have seen a method to root without having to flash back to an earlier version.

New to all this and wanted an easy method to root. Am I on the right track?
