How come when I try to use revoked/m it say:ah Farg it couldn't create the gd marker?

I believe that website was created for soft rooting the Evo for the original stock (release) ROM and the subsequent OTA. You can not use this version of unRevoked to root the most recent OTAs.

Thanks,yeah I was looking into downgrading to2.2 because I am complete noob when it comes to smartphones.

I recommend using the downgrade version and work from there and use simpleroot or the manual method once downgraded. It will get you familiarized with your phone and system and how to, well for lack of words, do things lol
