I know it can be really annoying when someone asks the same dumb question over and over again but I have searched for my problem and attempted the solution suggested to other users but it's not worked in my case.
To cut a long story short Unrevoked3 gets the the stage where it attempts to root the phone but it comes back with "Error:failed to get root. Is you firmware too new?"
I see other users with this problem were advised to factory reset the phone which I've done twice. I've also erased the contents of the SD card too but this error persists.
Checking "software information" it shows I'm running 2.3.3.
Any suggestions?
