Root unroot question

so long story short i tryed to root and now my phone says S-off but i dont have SU permission and yes i already made sure i dont. so how do i unroot do i just go here Supersonic Shipped ROMs - xda-developers and download the 3.70 zip and reflash back??? when i used unrevoked to root it didnt install clockwork so i have dont have that so will flashing with that zip turn S-ON and make it so my phone appears to be never messed with?

You can still finish rooting your phone. I have seen it many times on here and they have always been successful with it. I believe Akazabam was helping you in a different thread. Give him some time to respond. He is one of the best I have seen and is more than willing to help you finish root or unroot.

I would probably just leave it be til you hear from him. He is usually right on top of this stuff.

Is it working or on? If you have it on and working, itll be ok.
And if you dont mess with anything itll be ok.

Even still, *almost* anything that does happen, you will be able to resurrect it, so dont worry.

From everything I have seen, it is very difficult to brick an Evo. If you can get into hboot then you can likely save it with the right files to flash. I am not sure which ones or where to find them. Maybe another will chime in. I am not familiar enough to offer any advice or steps to repair this but many are.
