Root Unrooting DX2?

Is there currently anyway to UNroot a DX2?

Not sure about straight from Gingerbreak (don't think so, but I haven't used it yet). Check the thread linked below. The SBF file is what you need. If you don't understand what to do, ask here first so nothing goes wrong...

well since technically there is not an official way to Root a DX2 then there really isn't an unroot app.

SBF'ing will return you to factory new in box like condition.

If you root with Gingerbreak, you can also un-root with it. It does offer that option.

Gingerbreak has an unroot option. If you have frozen any apps make sure your put them back to a factory state before removing root, as you can't do it afterwards. Another option is to use the SBF to flash the system folder back to stock. Follow the link in the SBF thread and there is directions in that thread.

Yah just be aware it is a system only SBF, not a full, meaning your personal info will be left on it.

So if I root with Gingerbreak, and for whatever reason, I end up taking the X2 back to VZW, I can unroot with Gingerbreak and be fine? They won't be able to tell I had rooted it?
