hello, i guess everybody knows mytouch 3g is sluggish with 2.2.1, and i had found out too late, i got the phone online unlocked. updated to latest and i reallly regret. i found video on how to unroot back to 1.5. then root it. after rooting, can i update to 2.2.1 or does this leave it at 1.5? and is it any faster than before if i do it? if i dont, i wont be able to get updated games or apps? im very new at this obviously and need some insight.
i like the fact i can custom things like rom and such after rooting but did anybody update to 2.2.1 or is it irrelevant after rooting?
