Root Unrooting to send back to USCC

I'm going to have to send my girlfriend's phone back in to USCC and I need to unroot it. I've done some looking around but I haven't found out exactly how to do it. She has a Desire CDMA. I'm not sure what other system info I need to post but I gotta take it in soon because it's been messing up quite a bit lately. Thanks

Ok, i had to download HTC sync in order to install the Froyo 2.2 update but HTC sync won't recognize my phone. Also, I'm running CM7

You need to select HTC sync on the phone. You may need to restore the stock rom or a sense rom enable to do so. Not sure.

You can run it from fastboot. From off, hold back and power. When the screen says fastboot on it, plug in usb. When it changes to fastboot usb, run the RUU

That's right. I forgot about that. I was just remembering how I did it it when I ran it many moons ago.

Thanks everybody! I really appreciate all the help! I got it sent back already. USCC sent my girl another desire (her 3rd) but she continued to have problems. Finally they just had her take it into the store and she traded her desire in for a Samsung Mesmerize.
