Unsync a google account

I have an android phone with 2 google accounts synced to it. I want to remove one of them without losing all personal data, applications and contacts in other words without restoring factory settings. Please help! Thanks!

Which phone do you have, usually you can go into, settings, accounts and sync and then tap the account you simply want to remove, and then hit remove account

With most Android phones the primary gmail account can not be removed without doing a factory reset. As long as it isn't the primary account the above method should work fine.
