unsync fb data n display/touch prob...

hello every1...

m usin htc desire 2.3.3

i synced my fb account with my cell, n now my contacts consume 50mb of my internal memory, because of which i can't update some apps i use mostly (aka angry bird space, adobe flash, google maps, etc.). how can i unsync all the fb data without lossin my contacts(numbers) as if i clear contacts from app manager then i think all contacts will get removed...??

n secondly many a times my cell's display doesn't response well, mostly while typin a msg, random words get auto pressed...

help please.....

1. What contact types do you use? If phone only, you can export to sd card.

To fix Facebook, sign out of Facebook app. Then clear contacts storage data via manage applications. If Google contacts, no need to export.

Then re-import (may as well make them Google contacts at this point) and sign back into Facebook

2. Could be one.of two things.

A) the phone is running slow and what you see is the phone catching up with what you've done.. factory reset is about all I.can suggest

B) the digitiser is on its way out. Only resolved by replacing the digitiser. Obviously factory reset best to try first.

You may want to look into apps like sms backup+ and my backup pro before wiping

if i clear contact storage will it also delete all my previous contacts which got synced with fb contacts??

n is all my contacts saved as google contacts??

i see sim(13), phone(17) n google(1212) when i go to export/import....

n thankx fo replyin..

n is there a way fo me to clear more internal memory?
i had already moved all the apps that were possible to move to sd card....

Rooting is the only sure fire resolution to memory issues.

Export the sim and phone contacts then import them back as Google contacts. Then all contacts are the same.

When you clear contacts storage all contacts will be wiped. But the Google contacts will resync. Then when you sign into Facebook and choose what to sync, they'll sync too. You may have to link some of the contacts but surely that's not the end of the world
