Help Unsync Xoom from Google bookmarks?

So I went into my honeycomb browser settings and found that I could have my chrome bookmarks that are synced to Google be synced to my Xoom browser. I thought "well I can always turn it off later" so I enabled it. Well I don't want it enabled anymore because it makes a lot of clutter with bookmarks I don't need on my Xoom, so I went to turn it off and I have not been able to find a way to turn it off. I went under "Accounts and Sync" and unchecked "Browser" and under my browser settings it still says it is syncing bookmarks with my Google account even after I restarted my Xoom. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Only way I can find of doing it is very simple.

1. Quickly create a new gmail account
2. Go to browser settings in the top right and then sync and pick the new gmail account.

Actually just noticed you will have to the new account in gmail but you can get rid of it afterwards.
If this doesn't work then if you can go on a computer on whicg you don't use chrome and install it on and log in with your account and then there will be no bookmarks to sync. Then just uninstall chrome afterwards.

Sorry its not perfect but its the best I can find. If you can work out a different way that's much easier then please inform me.
