Help unwanted ring tone and volume changes

Maybe because of my cack handedness but every so often I catch by accident the volume button. The result being that my ring tone goes to silent. A nuisance when you haven't realised that it has happened. Also the other day the ring tone changed. Lord knows what I caught by accident. Is there a way that features such as these can be locked so that accidental changes cannot occur ?

You could trying installing something like Tasker & setting up a profile so it sets the ringtone to max if its ever set to silent (I'm guessing that Tasker detects such a state).

Or install Sound Manager and set a schedule to set it to max every 10 minutes.

Or, don't keep pressing volume down
