Root UOT cm7 theme notification icons less consistent :/

hi guys,

odd post i know - but as some will know (Dan ;) i really dislike the android thing where the notification icons go white (not grey for no signal etc) when the google services are not available etc

previously on cm7 and dgb ive used uot to 'break' this interaction - but on my current cm7 install, with new andoirdian uot theme flashed and selected, those pesky icons are stll going white a lot :(

have i mucked sumink up do you think? i just selected the standard androidian notification icon pack

....does seem especially poor on work wifi - i know it is a rubbish signal - maybe too much for my icons to cope with :D
 
What have you modified in the androidian theme? I'd guess that if you didn't modify the status bar icons it would still do this (long time since I used the theme chooser, longer since I UOTed one of its themes, so I am guessing a bit here).

yes i just selected the notification bar and then the androidian icon pack with black background

yeah - it has in the past both on cm7 and dgb11 - probably either user
incompetence , or uot did a bad build as it was very busy
 
Are you saving it as a framework modification or a modified theme chooser app? On dGB it would have to be the former, but on CM7 it could be either. Though I'd have guessed it wouldn't make a difference.
 
im using the androidian.apk theme file

i only did it earlier to day so not had much chance to test it - seems to be doing a better job with 3g connection - wifi was hopeless - but as you say, i would have expected it to work with either
 
wiped and reflashed the apk this morning. 3g is fine but wifi
still a bit flaky with white icons some of the time.
maybe should have left in those 4g icons :-\
 
woof! - doh, what a chump :D just figured it out - i only used the stock androidian icons on UOT rather than custom setting my own colors - seems a lot better now :)
