Root UOT Kitchen Theming

i was only able to get the job done once rooted and thru busybox commands moving the files from the sdcard.

I was wondering if the process would delete my applications and/or data?

Well, I just try this tool I'm happy with the results but keep in mind that this process delete all your data so the phone start with no new data on the internal memory, so I recommend to install the app Astro so will be easier to re-install your applications

As you can see I just chance the batt icon, background, font and default Android icons.

In the kitchen (File upload), and in the part that tells: "update-binary --- devices list"

select the "Type Galaxy"

You know how to find the "framework-res" and "twframework-res" from the 'update.zip' file of your ROM? What ROM do you have? Arthard's one?

Keep everything like default and just unmark the 'ThemeChooser preview' option.

thank you,thank you, and thank you! This site and the exceptionally brilliant folks that are part of it make my day and im sure plenty others. I again tried the UOT, it worked like a charm. I cant thank Arhtard and Srjvargas enough for all they done and tried with the Gravity Smart. I have to admit I like my phone now. thank you guys!!!!!!

what else is there other then UOT kitchen , adw, and go launcher for theming ?

Well, "real" theming involves decompiling the phones files and changing what you want from there. You can change the colors and transparency of just about anything if you do enough research

well I dint know how to do all that now , but I have a nice mac os theme for adw but it doesnt theme the whole phone ,can someone on here help me with that?
