"Up Time" vs. "Awake Time" what's the difference?

Mine read the same after a restart, even if the screen goes to sleep for a while.

What are the definitions of "Up" vs. "Awake?"

uptime is the time from latest boot of the device

awake time is the time from it being active. like the last time you unlocked the phone from sleeping state

Is "boot" defined as power-off, then on?
Is "sleeping state" when the screen shuts off and I have to enter the pattern? If so, my "Up" and "Awake" times are still the same afterwards.

yes, your definition is correct as far as im aware.

strange though that is gives same result.

They're still both the same. the phone's been asleep on and off for the last 4 hours. :-/

Aha, I think that it's my "No Lock" app that's causing the two timers to be the same after sleeping. I turned off "No Lock" put it to sleep, then 2 minutes later woke it up and the timers are about 2 minutes apart.
