Upcoming Phones that may sway you

Strange, I use swype all the time with my S-pen and it's so fluid. It does however come down to personal choice.

True. However, you have to open the app first, THEN pull out S-pen to use S-pen with SWYPE. If you pull out S-pen first, then you have to do extra steps to get back the keyboard (and thus SWYPE). I don't find that the S-pen with SWYPE is anymore accurate or quicker...thus, might as well use your fingers and never worry about losing the S-pen inadvertently. I don't know...maybe i am just use to SWYPE and thus very proficient at it with my finger.

S pen is the greatest part of the phone to me. I use swipe with both but I also work a lot from my phone for someone that doesn't it may be overkill.

Then for the Iphone. I have owned some and just not a fan. Itunes is junk to me. I got a zunehd after have many issues with an ipod and never looked back. That mp3 player should have taken off was really underrated and got out to consumers to late. For movie quality meh sitting in front of a tv is boring anyways so that doesn't bother me. It is all based on opinion. Only phone I have had crash that wasn't due to my error was my moto DROID. Outside of that my note has been flawless and I put this phone under a lot since I'm constantly using it.

For cost. You compared iphone to note2 prices. Compare the hardware and the more should be more. Note compare the iphone properly and similar phones go for either the same price or less. And I'm talking full retail not contract price.

I'm I'm bored typing lol. How your weekend is going good.

I think you use it wrong or something. I mean if the s pen is close to the screen it will disable finger touches but I am lost in what you are talking about. I am right now switching between the two no issues. But again it is personal opinion but minus pulling the pen out which isn't hard. It is no different really.

You lost me right here. Using the S Pen does not disable finger touches.

Well, on May 30th, LG will announce the LG Optimus G2. Rumor has these features:

5.0" 1080p LCD screen with zero gap technology
Qualcomm S800 chip
2GB RAM
32GB memory
Very thin bezel and thin profile
? micro-SD and/or removable battery? (I doubt it since the phone is very thin)

The only question now is...does it support tri-band LTE on Sprint??? Sprint has ran this phone thru FCC testing...but no word on LTE support.

Looks like htc is working on a note competitor that may be interesting..5.9" hd screen snapdragon 800 stylus 3300 mah battery sd card slot and front facing speakers like the one. I'll be keeping an eye on this one!

Well, Galaxy S4 ACTIVE has my attention: Samsung Introduces the GALAXY S4 Active: The Perfect Companion for Exploration, Activity and Adventure | SAMSUNG TOMORROW Global

What does IP67 mean? See: What Does IP67 Mean? - Aceeca.com

Notes:
1. Same battery and (probably) S600 processor...so, hopefully same battery life
2. TFT LCD screen at 1080p...probably a good thing since LCD are better in sunlight, better viewing angles, and offer better color accuracy
3. No mention of shock resistance...but the body itself looks to be more stout...which means that this phone may not need a case at all!
4. Camera has less MP...probably same one as GS3/Note 2...that's ok by me
5. Micro-SD is still there!
6. ??? Battery removable??? Hopefully, it has the same antennas as the standard GS4.
7. Sprint LTE tri-band compatible???
8. Is the screen LCD 3 (like HTC One) with Gorilla Glass 3????

I sure hope that the last 3 points come true!

Samsung Mega (6.3) or Samsung Note 3 are the only things on my radar.

Yeah really wanting to see what the Note 3 ends up like. Samsung has done such a great job with the first two I hope they continue with appropriate updates that continue to keep the phone at the level it is
