Upcoming title updates

EA made a deal with NFS Shift for exclusive access to just Verizon and the Droid devices. It was 6 months before they released it on the market.

They seem to have done the same with Madden 11 as they pushed the demo to all Droid X devices and can only be paid for through Verizon with carrier billing. So I wouldn't expect this game till the summer.

Mini Gore is available, just not on the Android Market.

PopCap announced that Bejeweled would be released last week and that Plants vs Zombies would come by the summer. But I have not been able find Bejeweled from PopCap, just clones.

EA
From all of the articles I read about Madden when it was released exclusively to Verizon, it said it would be released Q1 of 2011 to the Market, which, if they hold out to the end, would be about four months (beginning of December to end of March).

Mountain Sheep
As for Minigore, that version that was released is just a beta. I started a thread on the developer site back in November not too long after that beta was leaked to get an official word about it and this is what they said:

"We will make an announcement about this. Minigore for android is an official port by Ambush Games. More info a bit later."

I'll just have to go back there and see if I can't get any more info about its release.

PopCap
I've read a couple of articles, including the one posted on this website, about Bejewled being released last week supposedly, but that doesn't really add up. The official announcement a couple months ago said their first games would be Plants vs. Zombies and Peggle, and looking at the actual Twitter pages, all it talks about is PvZ and Peggle running on an Android phone.

I find it strange that Bejewled was supposed to be released last week and the two games they said would be coming out "early Q1 2011" are now being pushed back until the June (END of Q2). As time goes on, I lose more and more interest in them with all of these false and broad "release dates" they give us.
