Update 1.75.161.2_R

[android-munkee]

I did a *#*#checkin#*#* on the phone dialer, then when to Settings, About Phone, System software updates

My phone is asking if I want to install a android 2.2 (40.28MB) System update
1.75.161.2_R

Is this the one that is full of bugs...

If so, could someone let me know?

what will *#*#checkin#*#* do ?

what will *#*#checkin#*#* do ?

checkin, does what it says, it checks in with Google to see if there is an update for your phone, then you go to Settings, About phone, System software updates

and you should be told that there is a update waiting to be installed.

*#*#2432546#*#*

equals *#*#checkin#*#*

if an update is available then anyways if you goto Settings, About phone, System software updates, you will see a prompt for an update, I dont understand why an extra checkin is needed here ?

These updates are rolled out to all phone, eventually.

Checkin just get you to jump the queue slightly
