update 2.2 on Desire, question

Hi I haven't actually received the update yet (i am on orange and due an update in about 4weeks) i was wondering what everyone thought of it is it better than 2.1?? i have seen some 2.2 with sense and some with froyo is there a choice

Also i was wondering if anyone can tell me if the sms has EMS capabilities? to send and receive little animations or emoticons rather than plain smilies? if not does anyone know if there are plans to incorporate this format?

i am new to this forum, looking forward to becoming part of this community.. thanks in advance..

thanks jimi, yeah i have been wading through slowly ... and yes there is a hell of a lot info... cant find anything on EMS through,,, any ideas on that point
