It seems like my phone doesn't want to update to 902. I'm on 893 and everytime I try it doesn't take it kicks out of the update process?

rooted do i need to flash and if so what do i need

If you've uninstalled or froze any stock apps you'll need to thaw or reinstall them. Your best bet is to look in the Bionic - All Things Root sub forums.
