Update all apps at the same time?

I have an Ipod touch and when the apps are due for an upgrade, I can click on update all, and they all update automatically.

Is there a way I can do this for my Eris? I just had to click on 14 individual apps to update them all one at a time. Not a big deal, but seems like there could be a time saving way to do it all at once?

Secondly....for whoever is in charge of this forum....

Seriously I put in a word to search and I get all kinds of crap that is not in any way related to what I was looking for. I am on several other forums and have NEVER seen a search engine this bad. Seriously...how about a fix for this? I mean I like the forum but come on...

I rather like not having to update them all at once, that gives me a little bit more say about what happens on my phone, and when.
Thanks to Microsoft updates for teaching me that - the hard way, of course.
