Update Download is Frozen...any ideas?!

Alright, I did my research before posting this and it seems like either I'm and idiot and don't know what's going on OR I truly am the first one posting this. I started the update on my Atrix yesterday afternoon. When I went to bed the progress said 66 percent. When I woke up about 10 hours later, the progress was still at the same 66 percent. Anyone have an idea on what to do? Should I restart the phone? Is there a way to cancel the download and restart it? I've heard nothing but good things about this update and I'm anxious to check it out!

I had the same thing happen to me at 92%. I just restarted the phone and the download completed normally. I'm not saying that's what you should do, just saying that is what I did!

Can you clarify if it's the DOWNLOAD of the update that's stuck @ 66% or, the acutal Update itself (As in it downloaded, rebooted and stuck at the updating screen)???

If it's just the download, restart the phone.
If it's the update itself, I'll have to defer to others. I would hate to tell you to restart and be stuck with a half flashed phone that won't boot.

Robby it's stuck on the download. I'll try it when I get back near a wifi connection.

Yeah.. if it's just the DL, you should be safe to reboot.

If it fails on the DL again, you can always download the file to your PC, copy it to the phone and reboot. I think the Link is on the "I just got my official..." thread. If not, I'll find it for you.

The two things that seemed to reset the download were rebooting and turning wifi off/on. I've seen quite a few people that were able to kickstart a seemingly stalled download by cycling wifi.

Give it a bit when you get back near a wireless connection and see if it starts again. If not, a reboot should be safe enough.
