Root update failed

I can't update my Kyocera kydro life it always says "update failed your device will recover the original configuration" yes I do have root & I removed some pre installed apps I even tried hard resetting the whole phone & still Nada what's going on here?

Hey Josh, welcome to our AndroidForums.

I've moved your thread over here to the all-things-root are for the Hydro Life since your issues appear to be root-related.

If the update that you're speaking about is an over-the-air (OTA) update and you removed some stock apps that the OTA is checking for (and therefore expecting to find and still be there), then that would account for the OTA's installation failure.

I'll let the other Hydro Life root folks help you out from here (I don't have a Kyocera, so I can't give you any specific recovery advice).

Cheers and best of luck!

It seems to not let me install them the email & emal exchange because of the permissions on it do you mind using root explorer & removing the executable persmissions like that

Sorry, I will not root this phone until someone can confirm that there's a stable root. My original hydro boot looped, and I believe that it was because I removed some apps, but I want to be sure.
