Update Firmware Unbootable Tablet

Gus_19

Lurker
I got one of those cheap chinese tablets. The other day I noticed on boot, the screen was stuck at the word "Android" logo. I contacted the seller and was given a zip file containing phoenix usb pro and a new firmware image file. Besides having trouble with Phoenix, I really didn't care for it.

I was just wondering if anyone has suggestions on the best way to update the firmware or if that is even the problem. Don't know if this thing is completely bricked or not.

Not a big fan of the cheap tablets and here is why:

my suggestion is to do it the way they seller explained or take the tablet back and get a better one.

If I were you I would return the tablet and buy something that will not give me any headache. Customer's deserve to get what they deserve. After following what the company representative told you and the tablet still don't work, then that's the time for you to give it back and have your money refunded, or you can just add some cash and get a new gadget with good quality that's if they offer that.
