update for calendar from Google

I am unable to achieve an update from my Google calendar to my A500. Contacts update automatically. Is there a way I can force this?

Go Settings > Accounts & sync, you then have 2 options
1. Select Auto sync, tap your google email address and check what you want auto synchronized
2. Don't select auto sync, tap your Google email address and then tap what you want to force sync
