Help update for connect

So I hooked up my connect to my laptop and it says there is an update well the LG tool says it so does anyone no about this it says its for our phone for sure

i got a software update for this phone before i even walked out the corp metro store, my gf got the same phone at the same time and she also got an over the air update. i would like to know why there was an update but the reps didn't know.

Yes, there was an immediate over-the-air update right after activation, and it's dismissible.
